La Cave

La Cave the latest addition to the Mews of Mayfair Collection

September 2010, Introducing Mews of Mayfair's "La Cave" our new Boutique Wine Store and Private Dining Room.

Mews of Mayfair is delighted to announce the addition to our portfolio of “La Cave” formerly owned by Hush restaurant and located at 7 Lancashire Court, Mayfair.

La Cave is situated opposite Mews Art Gallery within the cobbled courtyard of Lancashire Court next to Mews of Mayfair. The Private Room can accommodate up to 16 guests for lunch and dinner, or up to 25 for a standing reception. La Cave, as the name suggests, is an intimate space located in an old mews house ideally suited for lunches, dinners and perfect for wine tastings.

Doubling up as a wine boutique, La Cave has a specialist fine wine collection, all reasonably priced without the inflated mark ups expected of the area. Offering wine to take away and / or settle in for some in house tastings. Wines are stored in custom built Euro caves ensuring perfect conditions at all times.

Being wine connoisseurs ourselves we have dedicated the summer to searching out vaults to create one of the finest selections of oversized wine bottles in the country. Magnums start as low as £55 for a well balanced Cloudy Bay Sauvignon rising to £2,500 for a Sovereign of Rioja holding an astonishing 36 bottles of wine within one large vessel. When wine is not your tipple we also stock a unique selection of large format spirits and champagnes.

To complement our wines we have an extensive selection of Havana cigars available individually or by the box.

"As well as being an alternative to our current Mews of Mayfair Private Dining Room our aim is to simply be the most competitively priced and interestingly stocked large format wine, champagne and spirit retailer in London. We will also be introducing La Cave mixed wine boxes by the 6 or 12 perfect for presents or corporate gifts shortly."
