Exclusive Mayfair restaurant, Mews of Mayfair, has been rated as one of three 'Top Newcomers' in the 2008 Zagat London Restaurants Guide.
The Zagat Guide states: "The combination of club, bar and restaurant in one place works at this groovy townhouse, hidden in a Mayfair mews. The slinky feminine upstairs dining room has an innovative Modern British menu that's worth the high price and slick service. The casual scene downstairs - reminiscent of a cosy, ephemeral nymphs' abode - serves good snacks, perfect for both clients and a date".
Mews of Mayfair founder, James Robson, commented: "We are extremely pleased to receive this top newcomer accolade from Zagat, which is a reflection of the team's dedication and commitment over the past 12 months since our opening in June 2006. We continually strive to provide our patrons with the highest level of service and only the best produce and it's fantastic to be recognised for our efforts."
Another bonus for the restaurant is news that the Zagat Guide also rates the area of Mayfair as the most up-and-coming location to eat out this year.
